Introducing proposal and DealRoom default naming with parameters


We're thrilled to announce a new enhancement enabling users to set account and opportunity names as default values for proposal and DealRoom naming. In addition to the existing feature allowing admin users to predefine proposals and DealRoom names using preset text, this update provides greater flexibility in the naming process by giving users the ability to leverage parameters. With this improvement, users can now establish parameters for default proposals and DealRoom names, leading to a more efficient and streamlined user experience.

To set the default names, go to System Settings --> Quote section.  


DealStream's Managers View

Introduce DealStream's new Managers View feature! This feature provides managers with a comprehensive overview of their team's notifications.

  • Navigate by Employee Badge: Click on an employee's badge to view their activity and deal-related notifications. 
  • Unseen Message Indicator: Each employee's badge displays a numeric indication for unseen messages or updates relevant to the viewing manager, ensuring that you receive all important notifications and communications.

Playbook Tabs Management

An exciting upgrade for the new DealHub system look & feel users only!

The group management feature represents a significant upgrade designed to optimize your tab organization experience. This feature brings forth a set of functionalities that include tab search, the flexibility to reorder tabs, and the convenience of deleting them.

Moreover, we've incorporated a new shortcut that streamlines the creation of various types of groups, such as global groups and repeatable groups, adding an extra layer of convenience to your browsing journey.

To upgrade to the new look & feel, go to System Settings> General Settings> "Enable new system look & feel".


Customizing the Summary Title for Your Proposal

Administrators now can update the proposal summary title, moving away from the default fixed text. This feature enables the creation of a personalized quote design that resonates with your brand, aligning seamlessly with your company's marketing and business objectives. 

To modify the proposal summary title, navigate to Proposal Summary Preview Template --> Edit Info --> Display Name



Customize Your Proposal PDF or WORD File Names!

You can now personalize the file name for downloaded proposal PDFs or WORDs. 

Use parameters such as opportunity name, proposal ID, and free text to create a cohesive name format for all your files. The name will always include date-time to search and track your files effortlessly. 

Stick to the default option, or switch to your preferred format. It's your call!

HubSpot - Product catalog synchronization

 System administrators can now enable the synchronization of the CPQ product/s catalog with the HubSpot CRM product/s catalog during the version activation process. Simply turn on the 'Synchronize products to CRM' option in the Advanced Settings of the version configuration.


To ensure your custom product attributes are synchronized, add the corresponding configuration mappings alongside the product attribute definitions (Version Settings -> Products -> Settings -> Product Attributes ).


Exciting Update: DealHub Moves to Freshdesk - Our New Support Hub!

Announcement We are thrilled to announce that in our ongoing efforts to provide you with the best possible service, our ticketing and knowledge base system will transition to the Freshworks platform.

The migration is scheduled for October 29, 2023.

It will include a new and improved user interface, a new knowledge center that matches our product flow, and an efficient ticketing system that lets you submit and track your requests in real-time.

Action Required - To begin, please register by clicking the login button located in the top right corner. Additionally, we have provided detailed instructions in the following guide if you require assistance with the registration procedure.

The process of submitting a ticket has mostly stayed the same. Same existing channels via email and web form:

  • Via email - As before, simply email support@dealhub.io. This will create a ticket in our system, and you will be notified automatically with an ID and link to the ticket.
  • Via a web form -You must log in first to our Knowledge Center at support.dealhub.io. Once logged in, you can easily submit tickets from the Knowledge Center and track their status.

Our goal is to provide you with the best service possible, and this move to Freshworks is a big step in that direction.

Populate Product Attributes within Playbook Questions!

Introducing a new capability that seamlessly integrates product attributes into playbook questions to elevate your product selection process.
Until now, sellers could view the product attributes associated with each product during the product selection process. 

Now, we enhance this functionality by adding these attributes to the Product-Selected table.

Here's how it works: Administrators will define a playbook question with an ID that matches the product attribute name. Then, the system will automatically populate the playbook answer with the corresponding product attribute value. This enhancement supports all product attributes, including number, text, text list, and date.

This allows for a more streamlined and intuitive product selection process.
