We're thrilled to announce a new enhancement enabling users to set account and opportunity names as default values for proposal and DealRoom naming. In addition to the existing feature allowing admin users to predefine proposals and DealRoom names using preset text, this update provides greater flexibility in the naming process by giving users the ability to leverage parameters. With this improvement, users can now establish parameters for default proposals and DealRoom names, leading to a more efficient and streamlined user experience.
To set the default names, go to System Settings --> Quote section.
An exciting upgrade for the new DealHub system look & feel users only!
The group management feature represents a significant upgrade designed to optimize your tab organization experience. This feature brings forth a set of functionalities that include tab search, the flexibility to reorder tabs, and the convenience of deleting them.
Moreover, we've incorporated a new shortcut that streamlines the creation of various types of groups, such as global groups and repeatable groups, adding an extra layer of convenience to your browsing journey.
To upgrade to the new look & feel, go to System Settings> General Settings> "Enable new system look & feel".
Introducing Answer Referencing, our convenient new feature!
Designed to address the challenge of managing identical answers for multiple Playbook questions.
Currently, administrators have to set the same answer individually for each question, which may be time-consuming and repetitive. With Answer Referencing, admin users can create direct links between specific answers and other questions. Allows to easily update and manage answers across multiple questions simultaneously, making the Playbook management more efficient.
Additionally, this feature is visible to sellers too! Ensure that when a seller changes a Playbook answer referenced elsewhere, all other answers using that reference will be automatically updated.
Upgrade your Playbook experience with the new Answer Referencing feature to simplify the process of managing answers for multiple questions.

With the enhanced 'Switch To' functionality, administrators can now seamlessly switch between user profiles without having to log out and log back in.
Effortless User Impersonation: Once an administrator impersonates another user via the 'Switch To' button on the User Management screen, a new draggable element will appear across all CPQ screens. This element serves as an intuitive visual indication that the administrator has successfully entered someone else's profile.
Clear Visual Feedback: The draggable element is carefully designed to ensure administrators know their active impersonation. It is only visible when an administrator initiates impersonation through the 'Switch To' button. This provides a clear visual cue throughout their CPQ journey.
Smooth Transition: To log off from the impersonated user's profile and return to their initial profile, administrators can simply click the "Switch back to your profile" link within the draggable element. This action instantly ends the impersonation, redirecting administrators back to the User Management screen from where they originally initiated the impersonation.
We believe that this enhancement will greatly streamline the user management experience, saving administrators valuable time and effort. It eliminates the need to log out and log back in, ensuring seamless workflow within the CPQ system.

We are excited to announce the improvement of our rule based Workflow configuration.
Apart from the existing feature capability of specifying explicit approvers by name, the admin can now also specify approvers based on their role in your organization or based on dynamically provided information from your organization's CRM system. This enhancement expands the capability of our Rule-Based Workflow and allows for a more efficient approval process.
Feature: Version Settings -> Workflows & Validations -> Rule Based Workflow
We’re excited to announce a new configuration enhancement to our ‘rule based workflow’ feature!
Administrators can now configure a workflow rule to run every time a quote is submitted, regardless of whether it’s the first time the proposal has been submitted or if it’s a quote that was duplicated from an older quote that was already submitted and approved. Upon quote duplication and submission, the approval workflow will run even if there are no changes to the approval value in the duplicated quote.
This configuration is particularly useful when a stakeholder wants to review and approve every single proposal that comes in, regardless of what changes were made.
